Civilization II Gold Edition includes the classic Civilization II and two scenario packs:
Conflicts in Civilization and CIV II Fantastic Worlds. Main feature is of course multiplayer option.
You can play Civ II games over a LAN, Internet, and hotseat.
Test of Time
Released: 1999
Civilization II: Test of Time contains classic Civ II along with two new worlds:
The Universe of Lalande 21185 & The World of Midgard

- the overall look has completely changed - the units, terrain, cities, improvements and screen all look different;

- impassable terrain types;
- multiple maps, with "levels";
